The New Voice Of Optimus Prime?

Word is spreading that George Clooney will provide the voice of Optimus Prime in the upcoming live-action TRANSFORMERS motion picture. I actually like Clooney, and contrary to popular belief, I think he was the best Batman (pre-Christian Bale.) He's also believeable as a team leader and has a strong vocal presence.

The voice I'm most anxious to see cast, though, is Starscream. Starscream is the shit. Boba Fett and Destro all rolled up into a computerized jet fighter. Awwwww, yeah.

TRANSFORMERS is due in theaters, Summer of 2007.
